We had an amazing night Monday (August 20, 2012).

We went to the open house of the Brigham Temple. What a beautiful temple. I really enjoyed being there with my family. Two years ago Lyndsey and Chelsey was at the Temple sight and was able to hold one of the gold shovels and turn the dirt for the breaking ground ceremony. Then last year as a family we was able to watch them put the Angel Moroni on the top of the temple. This temple has been a great experience for our family to be apart of. We are all looking forward to September when they dedicate the temple.

First Day of School

Today is the First Day of School.....Everyone was really nervous and excited.  Jordan will be a Junior at Sky View High, Lyndsey will be a Sophomore at Sky View High, Chelsey will be in the 8th Grade at North Cache Middle School, and Caden will be a 5th grader at Lewiston Elementary.  BIG DAY for everyone.

Summer is almost over

We have had a fun and busy summer. We all really enjoyed our trip to Yellowstone and Jackson Hole with our New York Parents/Grandparents. It will be a trip that we will always cherish. Now we just need to find time to look at all of the pictures and videos. JP and CJ have been really busy with football practice everyday, sometimes twice a day. JP had the opportunity to dress for the Varsity Game last night down in Salt Lake. Mike and I went and watched....it was a really good game Sky View won 21-14.
Mike and I are really looking forward to watching them play this year. They are both becoming really good football players.....(I know Moms always say that about their own kids) CJ will be playing his first game today in Smithfield he is really excited, he had a hard time sleeping last night. Tomorrow there will be a big NFL game to watch...The Colts (JPs Team) playing the Steelers (CJs Team) it will be interested to see what son will be happy and which one won't . Great times at the Pete's house.

Chelsey and Lyndsey have been really busy moving pipe this year. They have had a lot of fun but are really happy that tonight is their last night to move pipe. Some of the kids are looking forward to school starting and some are not. Jordan will be a Junior this year and Lyndsey will be a Sophomore....both will be attending Sky View High School. It seems like just yesterday Mike and I was there. Time flies when you are having fun. Chelsey will be in 8th grad and going to North Cache Middle School, she is really nervous about going because its a really big school. I think she will enjoy it, we went and looked for her classes last week and we stayed until she new exactly where she was going it took us about an hour and half. So I think she has it down on where she needs to go. CJ will be in 5th grade and this will be his last year at Lewiston Elementary. He is looking forward to being the big kid in Elementary. Last week we went school shopping, registered everyone and went and had their hair all done. No more money left! :) They took it all. Good thing they all have jobs.

I better sign off for now. I need to get ready for a football game. Lots more to write but I will have to write later.
